Uptime as a Service - Senseye

Senseye started in 2014 with a team of six people focused on developing advanced predictive maintenance software to make unplanned machine downtime in manufacturing a thing of the past. Unplanned downtime accounts for almost 25% of the cost of a product; in some industries costing the manufacturer over £2m per hour through lost production.

Winning the NMI award for Emerging Technology Company of the Year, Senseye now has a team of 20 people, developing its cloud-based machine Uptime as a Service product which helps manufacturers to avoid downtime and save money by automatically forecasting machine failure without the need for expert manual analysis.

It’s a revolution in predictive maintenance that can be used on any machine and from any manufacturer. Working with a major automotive manufacturer, Senseye has already saved in excess of £2m over six months.

Senseye’s growth in Southampton has been helped by the excellent University and rail transport links as well as Southampton Airport, allowing Senseye to easily do business with key customers in the North of England as well as across Europe.
